At this point there will be individualized tasks the dogs must learn for each recipient.  Retrieving a cell phone, picking up dropped objects, holding doors open, working around crutches and pulling a wheelchair are all tasks that might be required of a service dog.  Again these will depend on what the recipient needs.  For example a parkinson patient who has a problem with “freezes” can be helped to walk if the dog is taught to touch the foot or ankle.  This simple action breaks the “freeze” and the client can then walk on.
